Lions and Tigers and Bears... Oh My!

Happy Halloween... Philip had his very first Halloween and loved it! We went to a neighborhood block party with the Brunsons and had a blast! Philip was of course a little lion and I must say he beat out his competition of all the other lions.. he was by far the cutest! Riley was a precious ghost... but Philip wasn't scared - afterall he was "King of the Nursery!" And Mimi and Gigi... don't worry, we didn't let him cross the street by himself and we checked all of his candy for razor blades! Hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Halloween!
Trick or Treat... smell my feet...
... give me something good to eat!
Daddy... whose the lion here?
Hey, do you think she is too old for me?!
Afterall, I like pretty ghosts!
Adorable? I think so too!
"King of the block party"
Are we going to trick or treat here or what?
I love Halloween!
And I love even more getting kisses from my mommy!
Happy Halloween... I can't wait until next year!

Pumpkins, Pumpkins everywhere

As Halloween is approaching, we took Philip to a pumpkin patch to pick out his first pumpkin ever! He of course insisted on wearing his new halloween costume and was too cute for words! Phil had practiced with Philip all week long teaching him how to roar like a lion and boy did he catch on quick! Our little lion rolled around in the hay and loved even more roaring at all the pumpkins! He looked precious and of course had one proud daddy as he was representing the SAE's in his little LION costume! Phi Alpha!
ROOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRR!
... still Roaring!
... and still Roaring!
I love playing in hay...
...and I would really love even more playing naked in hay
Or I guess I can just settle for Roaring instead
... still Roaring just like my daddy taught me
Do you think these pumpkins make me look round?
Marching to my own drum
This is so fun... I LOVE Pumpkins!
Here is me and my daddy holding my very own first pumpkin
I'm getting pumpkined out
...and I am spent - but can't wait for next year!

Philip's newest cousin... Hunter James Johnson

God is Great! Today... on October 27, 2008, Hunter James Johnson was born. He weighed 8 lbs 14 oz and is absolutely precious! Congratulations Meg and Chris... we are so happy for your new little family of three and we can't wait to meet him!

My little Peanut

Well today our little peanut is 6 months old... I can hardly believe it! It seems like just yesterday he was kicking in my belly. He is growing up so fast... I just wish we could stop the hands of time. Philip went in today for his 6 month check-up with Dr. Harrell and was 27 inches long and weighed in at 15 lbs 15 oz. He is in the 90% percentile for his height and in the 25% percentile for his weight. He of course laughed and smiled throughout the whole appt as he loves going to the doctor for no other reason except for the fact that he gets to be NAKED!! What can I say... he is definitely his father's son!

Our Little Piggy

On October 15, Philip had his first bite of big boy food... rice cereal and he loved it! Although I think he loved eating the spoon and licking the bowl more than the cereal...  He is for sure as they say "all boy" and our little piggy... he even screamed in between each bite for more!
Here I am watching my baby sign language DVD getting ready to eat like a big boy!
I am ready to eat eat eat!
Ummm... Let's see how this monkey tastes!
My first bite... a little bland but...
I love it... keep it coming!
Mommy... now let me try this spoon thing by myself
This doesn't feel so right...
Yummy!
I am starving... hurry it up in between those servings!
So good... right when it hits the lips
I love it!
Is it really all gone?
Let me lick the bowl and see...
Mommy... I think it is empty... how about filling this back up again?
Wait... there might be still a little bite left - let me check
Nope... I don't see anymore mommy
Guess if she won't feed me, I will just have to eat this cloth instead!
