Memorial Holidays are really fun...

Especially when you have an amazing aunt Avri and uncle Boone that live in Charleston!! Im absolutely obsessed with this city... and now to have family that live there too - its too good to be true!! Phil and I took the boys to Charleston for the long holiday weekend and we had an absolute blast. We went to the beach, ate super yummy food, and loved just spending time and relaxing with Boone and Avri. The boys also went on their first boat ride ever... which was a real big hit as they sat in the front and screamed "go faster go faster" like they were on a disney world ride... can't wait for that someday! And mommy and daddy enjoyed a real fun adult only night out with Boone and Avri on the town... drinks at the cocktail club followed by dinner at Coast... it just doesn't get any better! And yes as you can imagine, the boys literally were balling crying when we left because they wanted to stay... maybe next time - ha! Thanks Boone and Avri for the best weekend ever.. can't wait to see y'all in a few weeks!!

Last Day of Pre-School

And hello summer!! Today was such a fun and exciting day as it was both boy's last day of preschool. Parker graduated from the toddler class and even got presented with his very own graduation cap while he ate yummy pizza and cookies. I literally was balling as I just can't believe my baby is now officially a big boy! But such a cute big boy he is... and I just couldn't get enough pics of him in his cap! And Philip was real excited to officially be 4 and will now next year he will be in the "4"s class so a party was obvi a must!! We had pizza and yummy cookies in the shape of "4"s for our big 4 year olds on the playground! All the kids were so excited and real proud as they all felt real big... too cute! So what can I say... I was the proudest mommy ever today! And daddy came to all the festivities too (best daddy in the world) and we tag teamed parties since they were at the same time. It was man on man coverage at its best... Love all 3 of my boys more than words! Today was a great day... I am blessed!

My little All Star

Well today was a special day... Philip finished his first soccer season and was real excited to win his first All Star Medal! He even scored a goal today to finish the season with a win and not sure if he liked scoring goals or getting the yummy jelly beans after each game from Coach AJ the best but either way it was a win win for everyone! We are so proud of you Philip, our little soccer star! We already can't wait for next season!

So proud of his All Star medal and certificate!
GOAL!! Can't wait till next season!

Muffins with Mom at Philip's Class

Well today was a great day... As a mom of a proud 4 year old, I was spoiled with gifts, pictures that Philip had made special for me and my very own love fern. We played games, colored pictures, read books and of course ate yummy muffins. The fun morning ended with the class singing songs for all the moms and Parker who I had brought with me was too cute and didn't miss a beat... he sat right in the middle of the class next to Philip and sang his little heart out just like he was supposed to be there! As a MOM of two precious little boys... I am blessed!

Parker Dancing with the Stars

Shy?! I think not! Our sweet Parker is definitely coming out of his shell to say the least and his new favorite thing to do is DANCE. This video was taking last Thursday night at Quail Hollow middle school in the gym at Falcon Fun Night with a packed gym of about 300 people. I volunteer there through our church and we provide dinner and clubs for the kids some of whom have no where to go after school. I have loved every minute of it and feel like I am getting more out of this than the sweet precious kids we are mentoring. This was our last night and we ended it with each club getting up and putting on a 10 minute show of what they do each week to show all the friends and families. Phil came and brought the boys to be supportive- bonus points for the hubby for sure. There are tons of clubs from sports and boy scouts to dance and jewelry making. I am not part of the dance club but when it was their turn these sweet 12 little middle school girls and their leaders got up to do their dance. Well all I can say is we were sitting in the bleachers and when Parker Brosseau heard the music... his booty nonetheless started shaking. He literally got up out of my lap and walked into the middle of the gym floor with 14 strangers and shook his booty and danced. People at first thought it was planned but nope... it wasn't. It was the hit of the night and people were literally coming up to us all night asking how old he was and telling us how funny and cute he was. Well... there we have it - I now have another Phil brosseau jr in the making... not shy at all and always having a good time at the party! Parker is the little one in the spiderman pjs (yes, his daddy dressed him). Enjoy the video and I apologize for the bad videoing... Phil was filming it on his phone and we were all laughing so hard that its a bit shaky. Think we might audition Parkerman on Dancing with the Stars after this performance!

Happy 4th Birthday to my Superhero Philip

Happy Birthday sweet Philip... wow I can't believe my baby is already FOUR!!! Time flys by way too fast and on most days I wish I could just make it stand still. You are growing and changing everyday and you constantly amaze me with all you do, ask (about a million times) and say! You have a memory like an elephant and literally can remember what you were doing, where you were and what you were wearing from a moment in time. You constantly make me laugh and your sweet hugs and kisses melt my heart everyday. You are such a proud big brother and you are always hugging and kissing on Parker and when you hold his hand to help him do something... my heart skips a beat literally. You are definitely type A and you like everything to be organized, in its place and you literally analyze EVERYTHING (don't know where you get that from... but pretty sure your wife will thank me one day for it)! You love to talk and even though somedays I might say otherwise... your sweet voice and all your questions are music to my ears! You are so big and tall but somehow you only weigh 33 lbs! You are beyond brilliant (I guess Ill take credit for that since aferall your dad did fail women's studies in college). And these days you can be found riding your scooter, your new bike, playing soccer, golf, playing on the playground and doing ART!! You are obsessed with superheros and spiderman is your absolute favorite. You are the best booty shaker I know and you clearly have lots of Buckler in you with that talent... you literally are the next Usher - and yes, I am not embarrassed to say that I am so proud!! You will always have such a big piece of my heart even when you are in middle school and don't want to be seen with me. We love you so much, you are the best big brother in the whole world and most importantly, you are one of God's children and he loves you beyond your wildest imagination! Hope you enjoy your spiderman class party at Noah's Art (we decided to do just a small party with just his class friends from school - daddy put mommy on a budget this year - boo!). Yay for turning 4!! We love you Philip! xoxo, mommy
