Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there and especially to my wonderful husband, my daddy, and Grande! We love ya'll all very much and hope you each have a very special day! Phil's day started out with breakfast in bed served by yours truly and of course Philip. However, Philip insisted on helping make the eggs... so by the time Phil got them they were as you can imagine, a little lumpy and cold but Phil ate them proudly anyway. Then, Phil and Philip had their first daddy-son shower which they both loved especially Philip... afterall, he got to be naked, right?! The rest of the day we just hung out as a family relaxing and watching the US Open... until it was time for dinner in which we had Phil's favorite, mexican (of course), and went to listen to live music "Pops in the Park" with our great friends Holly and Kevin Harrel. It was such a blast and a wonderful day... Happy Father's Day Dads!
"My First Big Boy Shower"... do I look ready or what?!
Hey mom... look at us... this is so fun!
Nude modelling? I think I am ready, don't you!
Strike a pose... Vogue, Vogue, Vogue!
I love you daddy!

Happy Fifth Anniversary to us!
Wow... I cannot believe it has already been five years! Who would have ever thought that that obnoxious guy who sat at the end of the row in my UGA marketing class would one day be the man I call my lover, best friend, husband and the father of my children?! I am so blessed to have you in my life and can't imagine what my life would be like without you... well, maybe more SIMPLE... but definitely not more FUN! :o)
I LOVE...
* that you are the first person I want to see in the morning and the last person I want to see before I fall asleep.
* that you can always make me laugh even in the worst of times.
* that you like to live life flying by the seat of your pants and I am the biggest planner I know and yet somehow we fit perfectly together.
* that you are more messy than our one year old... and that now I can truly say I have two children!
* that just when we seem to get settled into a place we call home, you seem to want to move yet again (I still cannot believe we have moved 5 times in just 5 years... can't wait to see what the next 5 years brings us... hopefully just not 5 more moves)!
* that you value family as much as I do and want a big family of our own someday.
* that you are so loud that I always know when you are home or when you leave (though I like the you coming home part the best).
* that you love ice cream as much as I do... (afterall who says it shouldn't be a staple to a heathy diet?!)
* that you make my life chaotic and out of control.
* that you love the Lord and are an amazing man of God who leads our family spiritually everyday!
* that we always have so much FUN together!
* that you can still love me even when I haven't showered in a few days and just want to wear my pjs all day long.
* that you still hold my hand, open car doors for me, stand up at a dinner table when I get up or sit down, and always kiss me goodnight!
* that even when I get upset with you... you somehow find a way to make me smile... it is just so hard to stay mad at you!
* that after 5 years of marriage, you still find the time to write me sweet love letters (who knew that the romantic nickname "Phil Flowers" was so fitting?!)
* that everything you do, you do to the nth degree (I mean afterall... you did almost break the guiness book of world records for having the most groomsmen in our wedding).
* that you love Georgia football as much as I do and bleed red and black!
* that in our opinion, we still hold the record for the best Grooms Cake ever (I mean... do you know anyone else that had real cut hedges from Sanford Stadium lining their groomscake?, I don't)!
* that you trust me and I trust you without question.
* that you love to vacation at the beach as much as I do... St. Simons, here we come.
* that you have given me a precious son whom everyday I watch grow more and more into the image of you (I mean afterall... who knew God could create someone actually louder than you, right... but he did?!)
* that I cannot get through an hour of the day without thinking of you.
* that you miss me and I miss you when we are apart for even a day.
* that you believe in me and I believe in you with all our heart.
* that I am yours and you are mine always!
* that you have a passion for our Lord and together we create a Godly home for our family!!!
I love you more today than I did 5 years ago... my cup is truly overflowing! Happy Anniversary Babe!!!
Also, on June 12, 2009, my dear grandparents, Grandmommie and Granddaddy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary! It is so special to have the same anniversary with our amazing grandparents who we love so dearly... just 45 years apart! We had a fabulous party in their honor and there was great food, wedding cake and dancing of course! We love yall very much and look forward to carrying on your amazing tradition of someday celebrating 50 years on June 12th!

Family... all because two people fell in LOVE!
Well we had a very big few weeks starting on Memorial weekend. Phil, Philip and I went to the beach (St. Simons) with my family for a week and had an unbelievable time!! It started with Taps at Twilight in the village at the Pier where Philip got to remember and recognize our very own war vet, Daddy Buck, with his special brick in his honor! Philip loved the music and of course the dancing (what can I say he is a Buckler for sure)... and he really loved waving around all those little flags! We love you D.B. and you are with us always!! The week was followed with a fantastic beach vaca with my parents, Blake and sweet Lyd and by the end of it... I think Blake and Lyd were definitely ready to have a little one of their own... Philip was a little angel all week and such a riot at the pool and beach!
Happy Memorial Day!
WE love you Daddy Buck... his brick honoring his service at the Pier
DB's "Wonderboy" (as DB lovingly called Philip) sitting on his brick waving his flag... don't you know DB is one proud soldier in heaven today!

Look at me dancing on the beach... (that must be that Buckler gene in me for sure - but I love it)!
Always smiling with my Gigi
I love getting big kisses from my Papa Doc...
... as do I love giving kisses to my Gigi (and do you think they ever tell me "no"... you guessed it, with my sweetness how could they?)!
Hey mommy, look how much I have grown
Just hanging out with my Papa Doc on the beach...

Sandwich Kiss... Go!
Hey Gigi, check out these muscles
Life just doesn't get any better than this
Then we had a special weekend trip to Austin, Texas where we went to Boone and Avri's amazing wedding in Wimberly on a ranch! It was absolutely gorgeous and I just couldn't be more thrilled to get another SISTER!!! For a girl who grew up with just 2 brothers always dreaming of having sisters... I am surely blessed to now have 7 sweet girls I can call sister! Philip III sported a tuxedo of course and couldn't have looked any cuter although he didn't have his best weekend in Texas. He had a double ear infection which started, yes, right before our 14 hour travel day (6 of which were on a plane... which was awful as all you moms can imagine and to make matters worse, it was just me and him on the plane as Phil was meeting us in Dallas where Philip and I alone had an 8 hour layover in the airport... I mean what are you supposed to do with a toddler for eight hours in an airport... and yes, it was as awful as it sounds but needless to say we made it through the misery). So by the time we got to Austin, both Philip and I were as you can imagine... done! But the weekend was perfect and Avri and Boone were so in love... we couldn't be happier for the two of them! We love you Boone and Av's!!
The Brosseau men getting ready for golf
My baby has turned into a toddler... I can't believe it!
Baby Hunter, Philip's first cousin
Cheese!!!!
Okay on the count of three, lets kiss... but dont tell anyone, afterall we have reputations to uphold here!
Of course I didn't get the memo for the "dress and boots" code for the rehearsal dinner, so we quickly went out in Wimberly, Texas to buy some boots... and this is what we found... AMAZING!
The proudest groom to be I have ever seen... love you Boone!
And the happiest little boy in a TUX I have ever seen... love you Philip!
Am I good looking or what?!
And what about a Profile shot... this is what my uncle Ben taught me!
Congrats Aunt Avri and Uncle Boone...
This wedding rocks... literally!
The sister-in-laws all decorated the fab get-away car for Boone and Avri!
We all of course fell in love with the great job we had done
The gorgeous bride Avri awaiting her new groom Boone to get into their fabulous car!
Just Hitched!
Then the great weekend was followed by another fun week at our beachhouse in St. Simons only this time it was filled with Brosseaus! Ben, Danny and Diana, Meg, Chris and baby Hunter, Sam and Sarah and Phil, Philip and myself... it was a house full and was a blast. Phil's sweet parents, Grande and Mimi, were supposed to join us for the week but couldn't make it at the last minute... we missed them dearly but my parents were able to join us for a night which was great! We sunned on the beach, played with the kiddos in the ocean and the pool, built sandcastles in the sand, played bachi ball for endless hours, grilled out, had family dance offs in the den, went to fun dinners at The Frederica House and Gnats, had drinks at Sea Island's Cloister, ate Papa Doc's homemade biscuits (my dad's specialty) and of course went dancing at Ziggy's!! It was a great family vacation and we couldn't have had more fun! Philip absolutely loved every minute of his two week beach vaca as he was obsessed with the beach, loved building sandcastles, splashing in the ocean and most of all loved learning some new tricks from his uncles (afterall he does have 6 of them now).
The Brosseau clan at the Sea Island Cloister (minus Mimi and Grande (who couldn't make it) and Boone and Avri (who were on their honeymoon)... we missed yall for sure!
And now as I mentioned before, Philip has lots of uncles who just loved to teach him lots of things... so now let's take a quick look at some of Philip's newest talents...
Bud Light... does a body good!
Now is this how you hold it right before you shotgun it?!
Killed it... can I have another now please?!
And if you are going to switch me to Corona, can I at least get a fresh lime?
And of course the Brosseau uncles favorite new teaching... "Hail Hitler" (with a beer can I might add)... unbelievable... just remember boys, payback is twice as fun and twice as bad!
Still "Hailing Hitler" with my uncle Ben
Are we good looking beach bums or what?!
Swimming with my uncle Danny in the ocean... yeah, look no floaties!
Loving on my sweet aunts and cousin Hunter

I love you daddy... can we stay here forever?
Phil and Ben getting ready to play some serious golf on Sea Island... sunscreen much?
Now what exactly can I put in here?!
How about all that water?
But, now how am I going to get all of that water in this small little bucket?!
I got a better idea... how about I get all of me in that water instead!
I am a Pure Genius... what can I say, I take after my mommy!
