Always Kiss Me Goodnight!

Yay, we are officially back home in Charlotte! Mommy survived her foot surgery, the boys lived in pure bliss at their grandparents house for the month and daddy survived living the traveling husband lifestyle! Thank you all for the prayers, sweet phone calls, emails and texts! Yay, we made it!

Almost WALKING...

Well, not if his big brother Philip has anything to do with it that is. Parker is about to be ONE and is trying so hard to begin to take his first few steps... However, Philip has a different plan in mind. Every time Parker gets up and starts to go, Philip will go and sit on the wagon so he cant move it or swipe it out from under his hands. Its a tough world out there and it looks like it might be a miracle if our sweet little Parker man ever learns how to walk with his brother around. Good thing we are back in Charlotte now so his big brother Philip can go back to school asap!

Surprise... Philip got a CAREPACKAGE!

Philip was very excited on January 21 when he received a package in the mail at his Gigi and Papa Doc's house that was addressed to no one else but HIM! His precious little friends from school each made him a picture and his sweet teachers mailed them all with a letter from his classmates. Philip was so proud of his package that it literally made his month... he showed everyone that came over to visit and even took pictures to text to his daddy! Philip is very eager to get back to school... as is his mommy!!!

Welcome to MOES

The boys favorite place to eat is the one and only "Welcome to Moe's" as Philip calls it. Parker used to just sit quietly and eat his puffs and cheerios.. but look how the times have now changed. He can down an entire kids moo moo cow taco. Is this normal for an 11 month old?!!! Looks like daddy better work extra hard because these boys are going to eat us out of a house and home!

Happy Birthday Daddy

Happy Birthday Daddy!! Phil was in California for a work conference during his birthday on January 20th but that didn't stop the boys from celebrating their daddy's birthday! They called him on the phone bright and early... (mommy might have forgotten about the 3 hour time difference from Atlanta to LA?!... oopsie, must have been all the pain killers). Philip was very proud of his singing abilities and Parker had a drink in honor of daddy's special day! Happy Happy Birthday Phil... We love you very much!
Calling Daddy bright and early California time
Let me talk, no, let me talk... I guess boys will be boys!
Cheers... this one's for you daddy!

SNOW and Camp Buckler 2011

After our wonderful Christmas... we went to Atlanta for mommie's dreaded foot surgery. However we got there at the perfect time... just in time to play in the snow with their Gigi and Papa Doc during the winter storm 2011 for an entire week!! Philip was obsessed with throwing snowballs and I think daddy might have even regretted showing him how to make them so well towards the end of the day. Lets just say the score was like Philip: 101 Daddy: 1! The boys loved sledding, running wild in the snow and Philip was very proud of his snowman that he built with his Gigi and daddy at the end of the day. Then as mommy recovered from surgery, the boys had an absolute blast playing trains with Papa Doc, dancing and singing songs with Gigi and getting lots of their all time favorite Gigi and Doc love! After being there 32 days... the boys were ready to make this their permanent home... with the love of their amazing grandparents and cookies, smores pop tarts and ice cream as their daily meals... what's not to love?! Thank you so much Mom and Dad for all your unconditional love, continued support and help during this fun month at camp Buckler! We couldn't have done it without yall... we love yall very much! Now, can you please come to Charlotte and help me get these kids disciplined again?! xoxo
Watch out daddy... one snowball coming right for you!

SANTA came....

Merry Christmas!! We had a blessed Christmas morning this year with lots of giggles, smiles, love and yummy pancakes. Phil made his traditional christmas morning pancake breakfast and we all played with all of the new and exciting toys for the boys! Philip was oh so excited about his new cool airplane and all his thomas trains and Parker man was over the moon in love with his new big toy chest and music toys. Both boys were also very excited to have a white christmas morning especially since Santa left them their very own sled for the big fun day in the snow. It was so fun to celebrate the birth of our baby Jesus together as a family! Merry Merry!
