Precious Moments

The love of a family is life's greatest blessing! Philip is so blessed with family... as he has the most loving grandparents, great-grandparents, great aunts and uncles, sweet aunts, more uncles than he can count and precious cousins! This weekend Philip's Mimi and Grande came in to visit and we had just the perfect weekend. We lounged around all weekend long... Philip had lots of naked time (his favorite), cheered on our Dawgs to another victory against South Carolina, went to church and just had precious moments with the ones we love. Its Philip's sweet laughs, precious smiles, and unforgettable open-mouthed kisses these days that fill our hearts with joy. Mimi and Grande, we love you so much and can't tell you how much it means to us to have you here... what can I say... Philip is so blessed to have such loving and wonderful grandparents like you!
I cheered on my dawgs to a victory with my Mimi and still was sporting the downward horns sign at my bedtime... Go Dawgs!
This is a shout out to my newest little cousin to-be Hunter James who will be a Boomer Sooner fan... (sorry uncle Boone... what can I say, my daddy has been brainwashing me from day 1)
I love you daddy
My newest talent... I love to kiss with my mouth wide open
You are so silly Mimi... now let's do that again!
Mimi, can you just stay here with me forever?!
I love you Mimi... now let's talk, when is dinner?!
Oh look... something else to put in my mouth
Hmmm... Yummy
Do we look alike or what?!
Playing at church with my Mimi and Grande
This is so fun!
Attention everyone, I have something to say... From now on just call me diaper boy because...
I love being NAKED!
Grande, don't hold out on me... give me that finger so I can put it in my mouth
Hey look at me... I am standing all by myself
Is it time to eat yet?!
I love you too Grande
I love my bathtime... I always splash my mommy
Mommy, really... this is so humiliating... do you have to take pictures of me in my bath?!
This tastes so good... I love soap
Am I precious or what?!
Just call my agent

Between the Hedges

Gooooo Dawgs... Sic Em... woof woof woof... were the words that came from little Philip's mouth as he cheered on his favorite team, the #1 Bulldogs at his very first game on August 30th, 2008! I think a tear even rolled down his daddy's cheeks as he held his firstborn son and we all watched our team take the field between the hedges in Sanford Stadium! We cheered on our Bulldogs to a victory against Georgia Southern that day... and everyone around said that little 4 month old Philip was "the smallest one they had ever seen in the stadium." What can I say... Phil was one proud daddy! We then even took Philip down to the field where he got to meet Hairy Dog, sit on the real hedges, and get his picture up on the Jumbo Tron screen twice as the fans cheered for what we say was the cutest baby in all of Sanford Stadium! It was a wonderful day... as it was not only Philip's first GA football game but it was also his Gigi's birthday and his uncle Blake's birthday the day before. We of course celebrated it in style wearing nothing else but Red and Black! Happy Birthday Gigi and Blake... we love you both very much!
Go Dawgs... woof woof woof!
Happy Birthday Gigi... now let's break it down to that music at my first tailgate!
Daddy... when are you going to feed me some of that Zaxbys?!
Mommy... can we take Texie into the game too?
Daddy... I am officially ready to go into the game... let's hit it - I want to meet UGA VII
This football stuff rocks... and I must say... the club level is the way to go!
Cheering on our Dawgs... as they take the field... #1 in the Nation!
Daddy... what are you doing - I can't see the game from this angle... now where is Knowshon?!
Mommy... are you really making me get a picture in front of the Red Coat Band... couldn't we do a cooler shot with my boys on the field in the background instead?!  I have a reputation here...
Here I am just chillin' with my cousins Katie, Blair and Jason... now don't hold out on me - what do you have in those cups?!
Me, my daddy and his buddy Tyson
Go Dawgs!
Four... get those hands up Bulldog fans for the 4th quarter.... we're taking this one to a victory and to heck with Ga Southern!
Daddy... I love the hedges and all... but do you think you could remove my wedgy
No, not where's UGA VII... where is J. Philip Brosseau the III?!
... Oh, there I am!
Mommy and Daddy... this was so fun... now let's talk... when is the next game?! I am only 4 months old and I am already a bulldog at heart! Go DAWGS!

Goodnight Moon

On, August 27, Philip's 4 month birthday... he moved into his crib for his first night of sleep as a big boy in his own room.  And for those of you who have been to our house - you know that Philip's nursery is directly across from our room; so he literally moved only about 10 feet into his crib in his room from the bassinet in our room. But what can I say... it was still an emotional night by all - Phil and I were both crying after I rocked him to sleep reading "Goodnight Moon" and then singing our forever favorite song, "Jesus loves me."  My little boy is growing up!

And to end Philip's 4 month birthday... he even decided to roll over all by himself for the first time (from his tummy to his back and then back to his tummy which is a big milestone for little ones). However, after he rolled over twice in a row on his rainforest playmat, he definitely got upset as he wasn't sure what had just happened. And for those of you who have children, you will probably relate to the fact that by the time I was able to run and get my camera to kodak this unforgettable moment, he was screaming his little head off. But what can I say... I am so proud of my little boy - words can't even describe it. I love you Philip!
Ready... set... go... Roll over
What in the world just happened...
Will someone please get this dang monkey out of my face... I am in the middle of a crisis here!
