The Easter Bunny came!!

And the boys were super excited!! And this year the easter bunny even brought Uncle Boone, Aunt Avri and doggie George along with his jelly bean trail to their superhero filled easter baskets. The weekend was filled with birthday parties, easter egg hunts and lots of treats! And we even got to see our magic jelly beans that we planted in the backyard grow into big giant lollipops (thank you pinterest). Avri and I had a blast cooking a big family Easter feast which included of course Philip's one request... a chocolate cake in the shape of a bunny! Philip and Parker loved celebrating easter this year and the boys especially loved telling everyone that "Jesus is Alive!" Happy Easter... God is so good!

 Good morning!
Happy Easter! (Oh and Parker decided that he didn't want his picture taken all day long so he literally is crying in every picture - I promise he is the HAPPIEST child ever... just stubborn about not liking his pic taken - must take after his daddy - ha!)
 All dressed up

Getting ready for the easter egg hunt
Parker literally would pick up an egg and
then go to Avri to open it so he could eat the candy immediately! Avri was the only one opening it every time he asked in his precious voice... she is such a sucker!
Philip excited to see what grew from
the magic jellybeans we planted and watered everyday all week
Boys and their baskets full of eggs and candy (of course)... no stickers at this house - after all I am their mommy remember!

The Lord's been good to me! Amen!

Philip LOVES his new favorite prayer which happens to also be mommy's favorite... and so we thank the Lord for his love, grace and of course for the Appleseed! Enjoy!

We Miss You Daddy!

Our daddy has been working extra hard lately and travelling lots. So the other night as we were getting in our jammies and getting ready for bed, the boys decided to send daddy a sweet little good night message. These are the moments that still take my breath away... too sweet! (Enjoy and be sure to mute the music player on the right hand side so you can hear the sweet videos)

My two little Van Gogh's in the Making...

Last Tuesday night, I called Phil and told him that I had scheduled a sitter for 6pm and to be home and ready for a little lover's date night. He was so excited especially when I told him it was going to be a fun surprise date night (Phil as most of you know LOVES surprises unlike me... guess thats why we fit so perfect together - right?!). So as we got into the car Phil asked me where we were going which I responded with "just a little wine, dinner and amazing original art... you know the usual - ha." He was super excited as he envisioned a cool art gallery walking around drinking wine and just relaxing... little did he know the art gallery was the one and only amazing artwork of our little boys. And amazing it was!!! There wasn't exactly wine but they did have some yummy apps and the joy that we got just walking around and looking at all the beautiful things that our little ones had created with their own precious little hands was pure bliss. And even though some of the pieces we weren't exactly sure what they were (ha)... they were all perfect in every way because they were created with love by our precious little boys!! I did however end the night with some yummy dinner and wine at Nolan and Phil and I enjoyed ordering our wine first, then waited and ordered an app and then once we got that we ordered our dinner and didnt pay until we were completely finished -ha. Sometimes its just nice to not have to sit down and order literally everything at once (usually with the hostess), inhale our food and then pay as we are still eating!! So heres to amazing Art Galleries and Date nights... I love you more than words Phil and wouldn't want to be on this adventure called "parenthood" with any one else in the whole world - I am blessed... xoxo!
Philip's amazing artwork...

And Parkerman's amazing artwork...

Better than the originals... I think so! We love you our little artists!

An Adventure in Atlanta

A few weekends ago, the boys and I went for a fun visit to Atlanta while Phil was out of town. And when I say fun... I mean FUN!! We had a real big time as always and even had a big adventure to the Aquarium with Gigi, Mimi Buckler and my BFF (Aunt) Katy which the boys absolutely loved!!! We also ate sgetti and ice cream (obvi) with Blake and Lyd at the "mickey mouses clubhouse" as the boys call Gigi and Papa Doc's country club and each night ended as always with a boys only visit to the Coldstone Camry (Creamery) as Philip calls it... just Papa Doc and his sweet little boys Philip and Parker. Mom and I were just a bit nervous as this was the first time Papa Doc had taken both of them by himself... but he assured us he wouldn't lose either of them - ha! Then on Saturday, my parents and I took the boys to a movie at the theater to see Dr. Seuss' Lorax which was too cute. It was Parker's first real movie and he did great... he sat the whole time and was in heaven with his own popcorn and candy (afterall whats not to love) - ha. And little did we know... Usher and his little boy were just seats behind us. So afterwards Usher, his little boy and Philip all did the spiderman jump together which was super cool. And yes... I am talking about Philip's favorite singer Usher... the REAL Usher. It was just a little embarassing when Philip started singing Usher's song while waiting in line for the jump but I am pretty sure Usher was flattered at the fact that a 3yr old knew his lyrics (or he was just thinking what a bad mom I am for letting my boy listen to hip-hop)... either way we are now officially BFF with Usher so it was all worth it. And after that we went to the coolest, biggest LEGO Store ever and then rode the fun train around the mall till it was time for naps. Such fun adventures!! Thank you Gigi and Papa Doc for an amazing weekend... we love yall and miss yall already!!
Just chillin at the Aquarium... its a rough life but somebody has to do it!
Happy Feet... Hello Penguins and Hello Gigi and Philip
Parker looking up at the big fish 5 times his size (literally)... he was in amazement
Its eating time... Philip was super excited to watch the divers in the big tank
The boys with their sweet Gigi and Mimi (great-grandmother)
Philip and Mimi checking out the cool fish
And so cool seeing the scuba divers feeding the fish
Movie time... Dr. Seuss' Lorax on the big screen
And here is Philip doing the Spider Man Jump... and next up...
Usher Usher Usher!! So fun! Cant wait till our next time in Hotlanta!

GOAL!!

Thats what Philip screams everytime he scores!! Well like I have always said... he takes after his daddy in more ways than one. He not only looks like Phil literally spit him out but now he plays soccer like him too. Philip is quick to cheer, probably one would say the loudest on the team and he really as Phil did believes he is one of the best players on the team (even though he has never played before and has no clue what he is doing). Gotta love that confidence, right?! I dont know if Philip was more excited about playing soccer or his new cool shin guard soccer socks that we got him... guess he too has a little mommy in him. I mean looking the sport is half the sport (obvi)!! We are also so excited to be on the same team as our adorable friends, Harper and Tyler White. They are pros at soccer and played last year so we are hoping Philip might learn a thing or two from them!! And Parker was a little sad during the soccer game as he just didn't understand why he couldn't play with Philip... looks like we might need to fib about his age pretty soon and get these boys playing on the same sports teams like my parents always did -ha! And I must admit... watching 10 little 3 year olds run around chasing the ball on and off the field (where they usually always ended up - ha) is priceless!! Check back soon... videos to come! :o)
Getting his "game face" on as he calls it
Team Huddle with Coach AJ
Pre-strategy game talk with Harper and Tyler
Stretching exercises (Philip's favorite part - flying like an airplane as he called it)
Getting warmed up doing some drills
Getting ready for his
first soccer game ever!
Looking like a pro
GOAL!!!
And this is how the little boys guarded the goal... you would have had to be a olympic soccer pro to get through that baracade... now I know why the other team scored in the wrong goal - ha!!
