All I want for Christmas is...

... my two front teeth! Philip had a very big day when we took him to see Santa Claus and to ride the pink pig with his new sweetest friend Carolyn, the little girl who I now keep everyday. His Gigi, great-grandmother Mimi, Phil and I all went together and boy was it fun! Philip did great in Santa's lap although he wasn't quite sure about that long beard of his so he pulled it and of course even tried to eat it. I don't think Santa was too happy... but he smiled anyway. Philip told him his long wish list for christmas... from a Noah's Ark, books and puzzles to a toy chest and last but not least his two front teeth! Lets see if Santa can make his little wish list come true this year!

Then we took Philip and Carolyn to ride the Pink Pig. We were a big crowd as we took up an entire train car... we brought in the whole caboose. Philip absolutely LOVED the ride and was laughing and grinning from ear to ear the whole time. Carolyn had fun too but I think she was not so sure about all the talking animals and music. Then Philip's Gigi was so sweet and bought him his very own pink pig and a pink pig train ornament to go on his first christmas tree... he was elated. We also got Carolyn a little priscilla the pig ornament for her first tree too... she loved it! It was such a fun and exciting day and now a new tradition begins for the Brosseau family!

A wonderful day... sealed with a kiss!

tagged...

I am so sorry for just now fulfilling my tag... we have had a very sad few weeks as we lost the most amazing man, my grandfather Daddy Buck on December 3. We praise God and are so thankful that he is in a better place now but it is still so hard to let go. Daddy Buck... we love you and miss you so much and your memories will live on with us forever! We have said goodnight down here, but one of these days we are going to say good morning up there.

So now... I have been tagged by my dear sweet friend Jennifer. I am supposed to post the 4th picture from the 4th folder in my picture files. So here we go... we are so blessed to remember this precious time. Philip was just 7 days old and this was his first professional modeling shoot... isnt he so adorable!? :o) Philip you are the most precious blessing ever and a true gift from God... we love you!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Well today we went to take Philip to pick out his very first christmas tree ever! He had a blast and loved touching and trying to eat (of course) all the trees. We picked out the perfect tree for our little family of three and then all afternoon we decorated our tree together by the fire listening to my favorite, christmas music. Philip even got to hang his special ornaments and then last but not least got to help his daddy put the angel on the top. He grinned from ear to ear but I am not sure if he was loving the fact that he was putting the angel on top or thinking that his daddy was playing his new favorite game airplane. Your guess is as good as mine.

Our perfect and most precious Christmas gift ever... Philip with a bow on top!

So now with Philip's special stocking, that his Mimi so dearly made out of love for him, hung by the mantle with care, in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there. Christmas is coming soon!
Then to end the night, we put out all the wrapped christmas presents under the tree. Philip LOVED the presents and he is obsessed with all the paper and bows and was having a blast pulling them off the gifts and then of course eating them... he is all boy!

And to top it all off before bedtime, Philip decided that it would be such fun to ride around on Texie pretending he was his very own reindeer. I am not so sure how much fun Tex had... but Philip had a blast! Like they say... Christmas, it's the most wonderful time of the year!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!
